A building with a clear Renaissance layout that, due to various legal issues, had never been completed until 1997 when the University of Alcalá de Henares acquired the palace and undertook restoration works, concluding its construction.
The Princess of Éboli, Dona Ana de Mendoza y de la Cerda, was detained inside the Torre de Levante between 1581 and 1592, by order of Philip II.

Museo Parroquial de Tapices de Pastrana
A collection of late 15th century Gothic-Flemish tapestries, considered one of the most important in the world. They narrate the conquests of Arcila and Tanger by Alfonso V of Portugal in 1471.
Princes of Éboli and Mendoza del Infantado rests remain in the pantheon of the church.
